This means you need to follow Dr. Barden's instructions on wearing elastics, headgear, expanders, aligners, or other appliances that you might be part of your treatment plan. Failure to use these appliances as instructed can result in delays in your treatment and a longer total time in braces. You also need to attend your appointments on the schedule outlined by Dr. Barden. Missing appointments can also result in longer treatment time.
